Whistlejacket Holiday Boat Description:

Whistlejacket is a 55-foot narrowboat, thoughtfully designed to stylishly accommodate up to five people for one, two, or more nights. It’s ideal for a couple with up to three children or two couples, offering two completely separate sleeping cabins—each with independent access to the galley and a bathroom featuring a freshwater flushing toilet and a hot/cold shower.

The aft cabin has a double bed that extends to a full 4'6" width. At the front, the bench seats can convert into either two single beds or a double bed as needed. Additionally, the longer single side allows for a further single bed, making it possible to sleep in three separate beds if required.

With central heating radiators throughout the boat and a wood- burning stove in the saloon, Whistlejacket can be used at any time of the year. The kitchen is fitted with oven, hob, fridge/ freezer, coffee machine, microwave, utensils and a foldaway table to sit around.

This boat has real oak floors, comfortable memory foam mattresses, and a flat screen TV/DVD player. The front has a set of doors/windows that open outwards allowing you to enjoy the full vista and outdoors.

Whistlejacket Short Break / Long Break Holiday Cruising Experience:

Whistlejacket is a popular choice for longer canal trips, ideal for weekends or short breaks. Its spacious cruiser stern offers more open deck space than traditional boats, making access easier and providing room for both crew and steerer.

No experience is needed - full steering and handling instruction is provided on arrival. Hire includes diesel, gas and water, and for overnight cruises, towels, sheets, duvets and pillows are supplied for your comfort.

ARRIVAL & RETURN TIMES FOR 2 DAY 1 NIGHT BREAK:

April – Sept

• Arrival 11am, return by 4.30pm (No later)

October 1st – 21st

• Arrival 10.30am, return by 4pm (No later)

October 21st – March

• Arrival 10.30am, return by 3.30pm (No later)

HOLIDAY CRUISING TIMES FOR SHORT & LONG BREAKS (Mon-Fri OR Fri-Mon) (Mon-Mon OR Fri-Fri):

• Arrival is between 2.00pm and 4.00pm to allow time for arrival & instruction. (Please note we may allocate a specific time slot). Between October and March, arrival times may be earlier.

• Return by 9.30am (10am at the latest).

  Please note a pre-authorisation deposit is required for all types of hire using a valid debit / credit card.
